- Download the sprite sheetChoose “Download ChatGPT sprite sheet” on a compatible detail page.
- Open ChatGPT settingsGo to Settings → Personalization → Pet → Upload pet.
- Select the WebPUpload the 1536×1872 or 1536×2288 PNG/WebP and choose the new pet.

Web, desktop, and Codex are different.
Does a ChatGPT pet ZIP install on the web?
No. ChatGPT web uses the raw sprite sheet. Pet Studio exposes that file separately from the Codex ZIP.
Do desktop pets sync to ChatGPT web?
No. Custom pets created in the desktop app are stored locally and do not automatically sync to the web experience.
